Nearly two decades in real estate and lending, and five years living on Padre Island. Jen structures home loans for buyers and agents across the Texas Gulf Coast, so nobody is left waiting or wondering during the mortgage process.
“My goal is a process where buyers and their agents never have to wait or wonder.”
Jen HobbsJen was born and raised in Sumner, Washington, and started her real estate career in 2007 working alongside her mother as part of a multi-generational real estate family. Over time she found her real passion was on the lending side, and with encouragement from the Wilson Team she moved into mortgage lending more than a decade ago.
After heading south with her husband, the two eventually landed on the Texas Gulf Coast. For the past five years Padre Island in Corpus Christi has been their forever home, though they still travel back to the Pacific Northwest often to see family.
Her background spans real estate sales, processing, and pre-approvals, which means she brings a working knowledge of loan structures and guidelines to every conversation. Outside of work she is happiest outdoors, travelling, or spending time with her family. Helping clients, friends, and referrals reach homeownership is something she treats as an honour — and she intends to be your lifelong lender, not a one-transaction contact.
Buying on the Texas Gulf Coast often means second homes, rental income, and property types that need a lender who understands them. Jen works through the structure and the guidelines before the offer goes in, so the pre-approval holds up when it matters.
